ワクチン接種完了者は　事前に自宅検疫隔離の申請ができる　ということになったが、実際のところ　「申請→承認→マレーシア入国時すんなり通過→自宅へ移動」　を期待しても　スムーズに行きそうもない。

“Some were told that they need to provide a negative PCR test result three days before departure. However, they were not told whether their application for home quarantine was approved.

“This has put them in a difficult position because they can’t proceed with arrangements to travel home,” he said when contacted here.

He added that some applicants have yet to receive a response despite submitting their application weeks ago.

“Only a small number were told that their application has been rejected, while the majority either got their application approved or no response at all,” he said.

こんな状況じゃ、they can’t proceed with arrangements to travel home,　となるのも　最もなことだ。

一般的な世界の常識としては、　事前に申請させる　ということは　次の選択肢も与えている　と考えて当然だ。　( 自宅検疫隔離か、ホテル検疫隔離か　の選択肢だけじゃなく　だ。)

すなわち　申請結果次第で　自宅検疫隔離が認められるならマレーシアに戻るし、そうでなければ　戻るのを延期する、　という選択肢。

しかし　申請だけさせておいて　回答は無しのつぶて　じゃ　どうしようもない。

こんなことじゃ　マレーシアはいつまで経っても　先進国の仲間入りはできないですよ。

一方こちらの記事には　こんなことが書いてある。

JOHOR BARU: All travellers entering the country – including Malaysians – must verify their vaccination certificates with the authorities here, says Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba.

“Malaysians who have been inoculated in foreign countries such as Singapore have to go to the nearest district Health office to state that their vaccination has been completed overseas," said the Science, Technology and Innovation Minister.

He added that the office concerned will then forward the information to the state Health Department to process the verification of foreign-issued vaccination certificates.

After that, the Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) will be notified to issue a Malaysian certificate through the MySejahtera app, he said after a working visit to the Mount Austin vaccination centre (PPV) here on Sunday (Sept 5).

He added that a Covid-19 vaccine certification from abroad was one of the improvements made in the MySejahtera app apart from the introduction of a check-out button to facilitate the contact-tracing process.

“Regardless of whether they are Malaysians or foreigners, the important thing is that we want to confirm whether or not the vaccination certificate given abroad is genuine and for us to know the type of vaccines they received,” he said.

He added that vaccination certificates would be checked and certified by health workers at the country’s international gateways for those entering Malaysia to open up economic sectors.

All travellers entering the country  と冒頭に書かれているので、マレーシア入国時のことだと思う。　それにしては、どうも要領を得ない内容だが、分析すると以下のとおりだ。

(1) 最寄りの　district Health office に行って　外国でのワクチン接種証明が本物かチェックを受けて　その結果が　the state Health Department　に連絡されてから　MySejahtera への反映がされる　と書いてある。　
本当に、そういう手順なら　その場合には　ワクチン接種完了が未確認状態で　マレーシア入国になるので　自宅検疫隔離は諦めないといけない。
まずはホテルなど指定施設での強制検疫隔離で過ごして　そのあと　最寄りの　district Health office に行く　ということになる。

(2) 他方、 vaccination certificates would be checked and certified by health workers at the country’s international gateways  とも書いてあるので　空港で　保健省のスタッフがワクチン接種証明が本物かのチェックをするとも書いてある。　　
この場合なら　自宅検疫隔離の事前申請をして、運良く　スムーズに承認連絡をもらった場合、KLIA空港到着して　イミグレ通過時に　再度　ワクチン接種証明のダブルチェックを受けて　オッケーなら　晴れて　自宅に移動できる　ということになる。

多分、(2) が正しいのだろう。　政府の発表も　訳の分からない内容が多いし、それを記事にする新聞もよく吟味せずに　訳の分からないまま　記載している。

本当に　困ったものだ。
