Sathwikの母親(Akhina)も日本語のオンラインレッスンを受けているそうだ。

でも、Sathwikが小学校のオンライン授業の最中に先生の説明がわからない時に　Sathwikの横に座ってタブレット画面を見ながらSathwikをヘルプできるほどの日本語能力はない、親子ともども先生の授業説明がちんぷんかんぷんで　途方に暮れる　とこぼしていた。

そうだろうなぁ。

学校が対面授業の時は　まだ先生がどんなことを教えようとしているのか、推測がつきやすいだろうが　オンライン授業は極めてハードルが高い。

学級担任からのお知らせ　の文書を　Sathwikの母親が持ってきた。

頼まれたわけじゃないが、英語にしてあげた。

と言っても　google translation で英語にして　日本語翻訳するという手順にしたが、日本語をタイプするときに、これじゃ翻訳しづらいだろうとわかる日本語部分は　手直ししながらタイピングした。

Google で表示された英文では　まだ　意味不明部分や訳が適切でない部分が15%から20%ほど見受けられた。

その部分を少しばかり手直しして　Sathwikの母親に　プリントして渡した。

渡した後　もう一度　英語を読み返してみたが、subsequent decentralized school attendance.　なんて箇所は　意味が通じていないかも知れない。

むしろ　ハイブリッドクラス方式　とでもした方がよかったかな。

それにしても　小学校1年生の子供自身に第二学期の学習目標をどう設定しますか、って親子で考えさせる連絡文なんて、　母親のAkuhiraも　「これが日本の学校教育なのか！」って、ビックリするんじゃないだろうか。

All the above resulted in the temporary closure during and even also after the summer vacation and the subsequent decentralized school attendance.

About a week later, the first semester of this year will end, and on the day of the closing ceremony of the first semester, "Ayumi" which is a brochure will be handed over to pupils by the each homeroom teacher.

As parents know, the viewpoint of evaluation has changed from last year.

Although we have already explained the contents of “Ayumi”, we presume there are many people/Parents who still feel these explanation remains unclear.

The other day, there was news that Olympic athlete Rikako Ikee threw a ball at the opening ceremony in a baseball game.

She became ill with a cancer called leukemia, but she did her best to rehabilitate her and rejuvenate her without fail. And she was once again active as a swimmer and she was selected as an Olympic athlete.

She said in an interview with the press after throwing the ball at the opening ceremony of a baseball game.

"My muscles hurt when I repeated practice for the opening ceremony. The fact that my muscles hurt means I have not trained my some muscles before. To me, for the Olympics. I found out that I still have some muscles to train more. "

Her words are in line with the content written in "Ayumi", which is consistent with the three points that we evaluate as very important.

1) She is practicing for the opening ceremony, which means she gains knowledge about pitching and acquires skills. In other words, it is an item called "knowledge and skills".

2) Her muscles hurt, which means she understood the fact that she needs to train herself more. In other words, it is an item called "thinking, judgment, expression".

3) She found that she needed to train more badly for the Olympics, which means "independent learning attitude".

Parents and children should read "Ayumi" brought back by your child and discuss the following with your child.

1) What kind of advice did the teacher give your child to when the teacher handed him "Ayumi"?

2)As to “ Target/Goals” for learning in the second semester, what does your child want to do?

(前学期の終わりに当たって)

夏休み明けの臨時休業や、それに引き続いての分散しての登校に行った次の「1;緊急事態宣言にともなう急な対応、2;オンライン学習、3;懇談会」に対する理解や協力をしてもらい、ありがとうございました。

後一週間ほどで、今年度の前学期が終了し、前学期終業式の日に　「Ayumi」を担任の先生から手渡します。

保護者の皆様もご存知のように　昨年度から評価の視点が変わりました。

既に学校よりその説明をしましたが、でも、その説明の内容は聞いてはいるが　よくわからないと感じている人も多いかと思います。

先日　オリンピック選手の Rikako Ikee が、ある野球の試合で　始球式のボールを投げた　というニュースがありました。

彼女は　白血病という癌の病気になりましたが、挫けることなく　一生懸命努力して　リハビリをして　元気を回復しました。そして　再び　水泳の選手に戻って　活躍して、オリンピックの選手に選ばれました。

彼女は　野球の試合の始球式セレモニーでボールを投げた後、報道陣からのインタビューでこう言いました。

「始球式のための練習をしたので　筋肉が痛くなりました。筋肉が痛くなったということは、その筋肉をこれまで鍛えていなかった　ということです。つまり　私には　オリンピックのために　まだまだ鍛えないといけない筋肉が残っている　ことが分かりました。」

この彼女の言葉は　「Ayumi」に書いてあることで、とても重要なことであると評価してている3つのポイントと　一致しています。

1) 始球式のために練習をする　ということは　投球についての知識を得て技能を習得する　ことです。　つまり　「知識と技能」という項目です。

2) 筋肉が痛くなった　ということは　自分には　鍛えていない緊急がある　という事実を理解したことです。つまり　「思考、判断、表現」　という項目です。

3) オリンピックのために　もっと多くの緊急を鍛えていく必要があることがわかった　ということは　「主体的に学習する態度」　を表しています。

あなたの子供が持って帰った「Ayumi」を親子で一緒に読んで、子供と一緒に次のことを話し合ってください。

1)先生から　「Ayumi」を手渡された時、子供にはどんなアドバイスが先生からあったか。

2) 後期の学期の学習の目標を　あなたの子供は　どうしたいと思っているのか。

後期の学習も　生徒一人一人を大切に想い、子供に寄り添った教育活動を続けます。

学校のこのような教育方針を理解していただき　ご協力をお願いします。
