どれに該当するのか、どうもよくわからない。

仮免許証
本免許証
職業免許証

という区分なので　私のは多分、本免許証なのだろうが、3年以上　というのが何を意味するのかがわからない。

期限切れ後3年以上経過した場合にはアッピール(請求申請)が必要という意味なら、3年以内の更新は認めてもらえる　ということなのか？

どうもこの記事を読む限りでは、次のとおり書いてあるので期限切れ後3年以内なら　更新可能のようにも思える。

If your Malaysian driving license is expired for more than 3 years. Then you have to re-take and pass the driving test. You can make an appeal to Putrajaya to be allowed to skip the theory test and go direct to the practice test.

JPJ から、どんな回答が来るのか、あるいは　何も返事は来ない可能性もありそうだが。。。

マレーシアに戻ったらJPJの窓口に行って直接聞く方が一番確実でかつ手早いのかも知れない。

Renew Competent Driving License (CDL) Online

Effective from October 2020, online driver’s license renewal has returned to MyEG, though the process now requires a little extra effort. Your photograph will be extracted from JPJ’s records. The Competent Driving License (CDL) produced will be the same as you obtained from the Post Office or JPJ.

All citizen (MyKAD holders), permanent resident (PTM holders), temporary resident (MyKAS holders), police and army are entitled to do the online renewal. All foreign citizens are not allowed to do this online renewal.、

Alternatively, renewal of driving licenses can be made at RTD State / Branch, UTC JPJ Counters and Malaysia Post Office (PMB). Applicants may renew their driving license within a minimum of 1 year up to a maximum of 5 years. If the driving license is not renewed within 3 years, the applicant will have to reschedule the test to obtain a driver's license.

どうやら　期限切れ後3年以内なら　更新可能　らしい。
