コロナ騒ぎで日本に帰国し、その後、外国人の入国禁止措置が長引きマレーシアにいつ戻って来ることが不明な状況にある人は、Outstation Member の申請登録をすると良いんじゃないか、とゴルフ受付で言われた。

そこで　どんなステータスなのか　詳細を教えてほしいと所管セクション担当者宛にメール照会したら　こんな回答が来た。

Dear Mr. Gary,

Refer to your email pertaining to the above matter, please be informed that outstation member can be apply by Members of the club which is not including nominees. This status is only applicable to members that are not staying in Perak. The subscription fee charges is RM99.00. Outstation member shall not use the club’s facilities for more than 6 days in any one month.

If you wish to apply as an Out-of-State member, please furnish the following in order we may review your application:-
1. To write an application letter to apply as outstation member.
2. To settle your outstanding club billings, if any.
3. To provide documentary evidence such as driving license or any utility bills that registered under your name in that place.

You shall be notified of the status of your application as soon as we have received all the required documents / payments from you.

すると　別途　内容を確認したようで、次のコメントが返ってきた。

Hi Gary...XX does not qualify as he is nominated member.
Adam Smith Trump cannot ..unless XX no longer member.
I think it is not worth it for XX to de nominate if he intends to come back to Ipoh.

どうもよくわからないが、nominated member っていうのは大家(ここでは仮にASトランプさん)が持っているメンバーシップを利用してゴルフ会員になっている人(テナント)のことだろうか？　　

なんと言うのか良いのかわからないが　「指名会員」　ってところかなぁ。。。

まぁ　人様のことなので　私には無関係だ。

私にとって　私自身がOutstationMemberになる方がメリットがあるのか　どうかが重要だ。

追加質問を出した。

Can I switch back and forth such that switch from Normal Member to Outstation Member during my stay in Japan and then switch back from Outstation Member to Normal Member when I come back to Ipoh?

数日経過しても回答がないので、再度　(もう少し詳しく書いて) 照会メールを出したら、翌日に返事が来た。

1) 発信メール

( Once I go back to Japan, I have no idea when I can come back to Ipoh. It depends on the Malaysia/Japanese Government policy when they will totally lift restriction for foreigners of entering in the country. It is quite possible the both government change frequently the cross border policy taking into account number of new cases of Corona infection. So I can not say anything about the my planning stay-period in Ipoh and Japan. Therefore my question above is “ form time to time, can I switch back and forth the membership status between Normal and Outstation?”. )
